Solo/Small Firm Support Series Continues in April and May!

Plan now to attend the upcoming Solo/Small Firm Support Events, April 14 (presentation by John Webster, SJQ 2001), and May 17, 19 and 24 events (“Going Solo” solo workshop A-Z with Kyle Hoskins).  Dinner will be provided.

Thursday, April 14, 4:00-5:30 pm.  Informal presentation on the realities of solo practice with John Webster, Bartlett & Webster, Riverdale (other panelists may be added) .  John graduated from SJQ in 2001, where he claims he was Order of the Turquoise Floral Couch (along with Anneliese).  He commuted to law school from Brigham City, where he still resides.  During law school, John worked at a small employment law firm, and operated under the impression he would take over much of that firm’s business at some point.  In January of his third year, however, this firm disbanded, John was faced with the prospect of opening his own firm earlier than he had planned, and on his own.  He has never looked back.  In 2003, John partnered with Matthew Bartlett (SJQ 2002), forming Bartlett & Webster.  He does a mix of litigation, business and estate planning, family law and criminal defense.   John has 5 kids (3 during law school).  He and his family spend a lot of time at Willard Bay and Bear Lake.
