Stegner Center’s Responses to Utah’s Transfer of Public Lands Act Garners Wide Media Coverage

The white paper published by the Wallace Stegner Center’s Robert Keiter and John Ruple  in response to the Utah’s Transfer of Public Lands Act has drawn wide media coverage and discussion. The paper titled, “The Transfer of Public Lands Movement: Taking the ‘Public’ Out of Public Lands.” concludes that the TPLA hinders, rather than helps, efforts to advance public land management reform.
