James D. Gilson, ’89, current president of the Utah State Bar, received the 2014 Distinguished Service Award from the Federal Bar Association (FBA). The Utah Chapter of the FBA held its annual awards dinner at the Little America Hotel on November 12, 2014. The award is “in recognition of an outstanding career of accomplishment and service as an attorney in the District of Utah.”
Gilson practices general business litigation at Callister Nebeker & McCullough, and represents businesses and individuals in white collar criminal defense matters. He has been actively involved in the Utah State Bar for many years.
