George to deliver remarks at academic awards ceremony of Omega Phi Psi Fraternity

University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law Professor Erika George will be the keynote speaker for the academic awards ceremony of Omega Phi Psi Fraternity.  The Omegas are the first fraternal organization founded at Howard University which is one of the nation’s oldest historically black higher education institutions based in Washington D.C.

Originally designed to promote the study of African American life and history, the fraternity celebrates “Achievement Week”  in November and is designed to seek out and give due recognition to people at the local and international levels who have made a noteworthy contribution toward improving the quality of life for Black Americans.
