Dryer to serve as acting dean of U’s Honor College during fall 2017 semester

University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law Professor Randy Dryer will serve as the acting dean of the U’s Honors College during the fall 2017 semester.

Dryer takes the helm as dean Sylvia Torti takes a research and study leave designed to further advance the Honors College mission.

Dryer kicked off his acting dean duties earlier this week by hosting a welcome back reception for Honors College first-year students with University of Utah President David W. Pershing.

Dryer has a joint teaching appointment at the Honors College as well as the law school.
