Ellen Maycock of KLMR (’75) joins Michael Best & Friedrich
Maycock is one of the founding partners at KLMR. She brings more than four decades of commercial litigation and family law experience to her practice. Most of her time is spent on the latter, where she focuses on the long-term needs of families in transition during matters of marital estate mediation, complex custody issues, and divorce proceedings. Maycock received her J.D. from the University of Utah’s College of Law. During her time there, she also served as editor-in-chief of the Utah Law Review.

Steven E. Clyde (’75) Appointed Lay Member of the Legislative Water Development
Steven E. Clyde, vice president and director and shareholder of Clyde Snow & Sessions, has been appointed as a lay member of the Legislative Water Development Commission for a two year term on October 17, 2017. The commission was established by the Utah Legislature in order to address the changes necessary in our water laws for the future.  Throughout his career, Clyde has specialized in natural resources law, including oil and gas, public land law, and mining law, with a primary emphasis in water law. Additionally, he has served on the Utah Legislature’s Water Task Force and on the Executive’s Water Task Force since 2007 to revise Utah’s water laws.

Diana L. Telfer (’05) appointed to Board of Trustees for the Legal Aid Society
Attorney Diana L. Telfer was recently appointed to serve on the Board of Trustees for the Legal Aid Society of Salt Lake, a non-profit organization that promotes safety, stability and self-sufficiency for low income families and individuals, as well as victims of domestic violence, through effective, efficient legal advocacy and assistance. Telfer, a shareholder at the law firm Clyde Snow & Sessions, focuses her practice on representing individuals and commercial clients in all aspects of family law matters, estate planning, and business and commercial law including entity formation, business planning, and general business and commercial transactions.
