eXp World Holdings Hires James Bramble (’97) as General Counsel
Bramble will oversee the company’s legal affairs, including corporate governance, litigation and compliance matters, and be a key leader on the international expansion team. He brings more than 20 years of legal experience at publicly traded USANA Health Sciences, one of the largest direct-selling nutrition, personal health and wellness companies in the world with more than 615,000 active customers around the world. Most recently, as Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at USANA, he had direct responsibility for several substantive company functions, including corporate legal, new market expansion, managing the company’s charitable foundation, internal audit and distributor compliance. While at USANA, Bramble successfully expanded the company’s operations into new countries including, Colombia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Western Europe.
Engels Tejeda (’06) traveled to South Texas to assist asylum-seekers
Tejeda appears regularly in federal and state courts representing businesses and individuals in diverse matters, including data breach class actions, finance disputes, claims under the Uniform Commercial Code and state foreclosure statutes, and actions under the Bankruptcy Code and the Americans with Disabilities Act. By appointment of the Supreme Court of Utah, he serves as a judge pro tempore in the small claims division of the Salt Lake City Justice Court. He also served as a non-commissioned officer in the United States Army Reserve for eight years, which included two active duty deployments to Iraq and Kosovo.
Steven Burt (’07) traveled to South Texas to assist asylum-seekers
Burt is an Associate General Counsel at Vivint Solar. Before transferring to Vivint Solar he worked as an Associate for eight years at Ballard Spahr. During law school Burt worked as a Law Clerk at InteliSum Inc and the Utah Attorney General’s Office.
