Cassell quoted in The New York Times on Colombia/U.S war on drugs

S.J. Quinney College of Law Professor Paul Cassell was quoted in The New York Times in a story titled, “The Secret History of Colombia’s Paramilitaries and the U.S. War on Drugs.”

From a broader perspective, Paul G. Cassell, a former federal judge and an expert on victims’ rights, said international drug smuggling cases were generally treated like victimless crimes. “This is truly precedent-setting,” he said.
