Shima Baradaran, Associate Professor at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, was quoted in KSL news and the Ogden Standard Examiner about the recently released FBI violent crime report. The results of the report show that although Utah’s crime rate is still among the lowest in the country it is steadily rising. Baradaran states that in part is due to a change in the definition of rape.
