Anderson quoted in The Salt Lake Tribune on DNA testing appeal

Jensie_Anderson_myehrqProfessor Jensie Anderson was quoted in a March 31, 2016 story in The Salt Lake Tribune titled, “Two convicted Utah killers get another chance to argue for DNA testing.” Adrian Gordon and Jimmy Dean Reinhard are being represented by Anders on and the Rocky Mountain Innocence Center. In separate 4-0 rulings, the high-court justices sent the cases back to 3rd District Court for further proceedings. Gordon and Dean had appealed the denial of a post-conviction request for DNA testing, which they say would support their claims of innocence in their respective cases.

“In both instances, we’re looking at evidence that could show who the perpetrator was,” the University of Utah law professor said Thursday.
