Adler-Robert_lbq3t7Articles by Dean Bob Adler and Professor Robin Craig were selected by a group of environmental law professors for inclusion in a list of the top 20 environmental law review articles published between November 1, 2013 and October 31, 2014.

Adler’s article, “The decline and (possible) renewal of aspiration in the Clean Water Act,” was published in the Washington Law Review. Craig’s article, co-written with J.B. Ruhl, “Designing administrative law for adaptive management,” was published in the Vanderbilt Law Review.Robin_Craig_zbfp63

In addition, an article by University of Maine Law Professor Dave Owen, “Mapping, modeling, and the fragmentation of environmental law,” that was published in the Utah Law Review was also included on the list.

To compile the list, 35 first-level reviewers examined just under 100 articles. The 20 articles on the list represent those receiving the highest number of selections as the strongest examples of environmental law scholarship from that period.
