Assisting Reentry to Our Communities (“ARC”) District of Utah
This half day seminar will focus on gathering evidence to improve practices in the Utah Federal Court programs to assist those reentering our communities. Reentry reforms are employed in Utah utilizing evidence based practices structured in local, state, and federal partnerships with unique strategic collaboration. Several states have sophisticated data gathering which ARC may emulate, in some cases with the assistance of the State of Utah and Salt Lake County Criminal Justice programs which have data gathering in place. The seminar concludes with an examination of two Utah District ARC programs which gather and analyze data, as a model for other ARC programs
