Linda Stephenson received a B.S. (1970) and M.L.S. (1983), both from the University of Missouri. She received her J.D. from the University of Missouri, Kansas City (1987). She joined the law library in 1986 as the only reference librarian. During her time at the law library, she held various positions including Head of Reference and Head of Information Access Services. She taught legal research to generations of law students in the legal research component of the first-year legal writing course and in advanced legal research. She retired from the Faust Law Library in 2015 after 29 years of service.
