By Melissa Bernstein for the Faust Library Blog:
Preservation Week® this year is observed from April 24-30, 2016. Sponsored by the American Library Association’s Association of Library Collections and Services and partner organizations, Preservation Week inspires actions to preserve personal, family, and community collections in addition to library, museum, and archive collections. It also raises awareness of the role libraries and other cultural institutions play in providing ongoing preservation education and information. More information about Preservation Week can be found here: http://www.ala.org/alcts/preservationweek. Have questions about how to preserve a specific type of item?
