The Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation (RMMLF) is providing the S.J. Quinney College of Law with limited travel funding to enable students to attend a Foundation program. Funding will pay for round trip airfare, lodging, and registration fees, but not meal costs or other miscellaneous expenses such as car rental and parking. You can access a list of upcoming RMMLF Courses online at the RMMLF website (http://www.rmmlf.org/). Please note that funding is not available for international conferences.
If you would like to apply for funding to attend a conference through December 31, 2012, please submit a letter noting which conference you would like to attend, your long-term career plans, your accomplishments (scholarships, grades, relevant classes, extracurricular activities, etc.), and how conference attendance would support and further your studies and your career interests. Letters must be submitted to Jan Nystrom, the Associate Director of the Stegner Center (firstname.lastname@example.org), by Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 5:00pm. Late applications will not be accepted.
Applications will be reviewed by College of Law faculty affiliated with the Stegner Center. We apologize for the early semester deadline, but we want to give students an opportunity to apply for the Foundations conference on The Water-Energy Nexus: Acquisition, Use, and Disposal of Water for Energy and Mineral Development held in Denver on September 13-14.
