For students interested in environmental law, the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law is the place to be. According to recently released rankings from preLaw magazine, a publication of The National Jurist, the College of Law is among the top environmental law programs in the country.
preLaw magazine gave the College of Law a grade of “A+” for its environmental law program —the highest score possible on its new list of best law school programs. The magazine praised the College of Law for its wide array of course offerings in environmental, energy, natural resources, land use and water law. The program’s connection to the Wallace Stegner Center for Land, Resources and the Environment — named after Pulitzer-prize winning author and conservationist Wallace Stegner—is also an attractive attribute for environmental law students, the magazine states.
The environmental law program at the S.J. Quinney College of Law also retained its position as a top 10 program for environmental law for the fifth year in a row in the U.S. News & World Report.
