On May 10, The Salt Lake Tribune highlighted the U’s new National Veterans Service Center, interviewing Hiram Chodosh, dean of the S.J. Quinney College of Law, and David Rudd, dean of the U’s College of Social and Behaviorial Science.
According to Chodosh, the mission of the Center is to draw on the “unusual and desired combination of skills, talents and experiences” veterans provide at a time of growing need for qualified people to serve in diplomatic and technical roles.
As the article explains, the Center will serve multiple purposes, including outreach, education, and national research.
