Rosky to Discuss the Future of Same-Sex Marriage in Utah in Live Radio Broadcast and CLE

On April 18, Clifford Rosky, Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, will be one of several panelists discussing “Same-Sex Marriage in Utah: Legal Strategies and Likely Outcomes” in a live KUER radio-panel discussion and CLE.

This CLE will be broadcast live and will focus on the Tenth Circuit briefing and oral argument in Kitchen v. Herbert. Due to constraints of live radio, questions to be asked during the broadcast should be emailed in advance to eclark@kuer.org.  The broadcast will run from 11:00 to noon, and lunch will be served at noon with an unrestricted question and answer session thereafter.

In addition to Rosky, others appearing on the panel include Bill Duncan, the director of the Marriage Law Foundation, a legal organization whose mission is providing legal resources in defense of marriage as the union of a husband and wife; and Doug Fabrizio, host and executive producer of RadioWest at KUER.

Sponsored by the Salt Lake County Bar Association, the discussion and luncheon, which runs from 10:45 a.m.  to 12:45 p.m., will be held at the Wasatch Retreat and Conference Center within the Episcopal Church Center of Utah, 75 South 200 East in Salt Lake City.  Cost is $20 for Salt Lake County Bar Association members and $25 for others.  Payment may be made in advance or at the door.
