Rinehart Presents on Patent Licensing and Litigation at IP Section Meeting

On May 19, Amelia Smith Rinehart, Associate Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, was the featured speaker at a meeting of the Intellectual Property Section of the Utah State Bar at the Utah Law & Justice Center in Salt Lake City. Her presentation was titled “Patent Cases and Jurisdiction Controversies.”

Rinehart’s presentation focused on several recent patent cases involving issues of subject matter jurisdiction and highlighted the implications of these holdings for patent practitioners in the context of licensing negotiations and patent litigation.
