Reitze Addresses Legislators at State Climate Change Hearing

On August 19, Arnold Reitze, a professor of law at the S.J. Quinney College of Law, addressed state lawmakers at an August 18 hearing of the Interim Committee on Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment. The hearing was focused on the impact the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 would have on Utah.

In an interview, Reitze told The Salt Lake Tribune that “You can rant about it all you want, but the reality is that the state of Utah is going to face a carbon dioxide limit in the not-so-distant future.”
