S.J. Quinney College of Law’s third-year law students Steven Anderson, Tim Considine, Steve Joffee, Dave Johnson, Robert Oliver, and Kathryn Smith fared well at the regionals of the 2009 National Moot Court Competition on November 21-22 in Phoenix.
“Although the team did not advance to the national rounds of the competition in New York City, all six of our students performed admirably. Notably, Steve Joffee earned the best individual oralist for his performance during the preliminary rounds,” said Daniel Medwed, Professor of Law. “I am grateful to my colleagues Lincoln Davies, Wayne McCormack, and Amy Wildermuth as well as devoted alums Meg DePaulis, Cheylynn Hayman, John Pappasideris, Alex Stein, and Chris Stout for their help in preparing the team for the competition. I would also like to thank Elizabeth Seeley and Carolynn Westenskow for their tremendous administrative support.”
