McCormack Interviewed by Deseret News, Slated to Appear on Sunday Edition

On November 30, Wayne McCormack, a professor of law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, was interviewed by the Deseret News on a push by Rep. Rob Bishop and others to pass a constitutional amendment allowing two-thirds of the states to group together and repeal any federal law or regulation they oppose.

McCormack described the effort as “cumbersome,” and said that, “It’s more efficient to lobby directly to Congress. It’s more like ‘Wake up and pay attention to us.’”

The Deseret News article is accessible here.

In addition, McCormack will discuss the impacts of the leak of government documents by Wikileaks  on KSL-TV’s Sunday Edition with Bruce Lindsey on December 5.

Sunday Edition appears on KSL-TV weekly at 9:00 a.m. and is archived on the station’s website.
