At the International Insolvency Institute‘s recent annual meeting at Columbia Law School in New York City, Ralph Mabey, a professor of law at the S.J. Quinney College of Law, was elected to the Institute’s Board of Directors. He will serve on the Board with representation from the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Netherlands, and Japan, as well as the United States.
At the Meeting attended by scholars, judges, and lawyers from more than 25 countries, Mabey also presented the work product of the Institute’s Committee on International Jurisdiction and Cooperation, which he chairs. The Committee Draft is entitled “Judicial Guidelines for Coordination of Multi-National Enterprise Group Insolvencies.”
