On Thursday, May 8, Erika George, a Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, will present a lecture titled “Empowerment Rights & the Status of Women: Global Standards & Local Strategies to Promote Equality.” The 6:00 p.m. event, sponsored by Women’s Giving Circle, will be held at the Utah Law and Justice Center, 645 S. 200 East. The lecture is free and open to the public., but an RSVP is requested.
