College of Law Students Participate in Mock Interviews

Over the evenings of January 17-19, University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law students participated in nearly 150 mock interviews with 39 area attorneys.  These interviews took place as part of an annual mock interview program sponsored by the S.J. Quinney Young Alumni Association and the College’s Professional Development Office.  The comments of one first-year student who participated were typical:  “[The attorney] offered useful feedback on my resume, cover letter and interview,” and that the experience “helped me relax and realize that if I just come prepared and act like myself during any upcoming interviews I will be able to find a great fit for me.”  The College of Law thanks the Young Alumni Association and its Mock Interview Committee in particular: Jonathan Pappasideris of Ray, Quinney & Nebeker; Kim Hansen of Parsons, Kinghorn & Harris; Adam Wentz of Strong & Hanni; Allison Behjani of Parr, Brown, Gee & Loveless; and Brian Watts of the University of Utah Office of General Counsel.
