College of Law alum Dan Spencer talks about clinical experiences

University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law 2013 graduate Dan Spencer, talks about his experiences with the Clinical Program, and the Civil and Criminal Clinics.

Since graduation, he has become a founder and co-executive director of the first non-profit law firm in Utah, charging clients on an income-based sliding scale. The firm, Open Legal Services, has been experiencing rapid success and growth.

Spencer’s firm now gives back to the College of Law Clinical Program, helping other students to learn practical legal skills.
