On January 25, 2013, the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, an international organization of Mormon (LDS) lawyers, will award Dean Hiram Chodosh of the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law the Franklin S. Richards Public Service Award at the Law Society’s Annual Broadcast Lecture. The Award will be given in recognition of Chodosh’s work on legal reform and his leadership and support of programs undertaken by the University of Utah. After the presentation of the Award and remarks by Chodosh, Larry Echo Hawk, the former U.S. Assistant Secretary of the Interior for Indian Affairs and currently a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy of the LDS Church, will deliver the annual lecture. The program will be held in the Little Theater of the LDS Conference Center at 6 p.m. Tickets are available in the front office.
