On Wednesday, December 12, Quinney College Professor Paul Cassell was quoted in the Deseret Morning News.
In the article, Cassell, a former U.S. District Court Judge who recently stepped down to return to teaching, described his “mixed feelings” about the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling that expanded the discretion available to federal judges when imposing sentences.
