Professor Matthew Tokson has been selected by University of Utah President Taylor Randall as a Presidential Scholar, a title that recognizes high-achieving and excellent faculty members within the university. Presidential Scholars receive $10,000 per year for a three-year period to support their scholarship.
Professor Tokson will be recognized, along with other faculty members who received the award, on Oct. 15.
Dean Elizabeth Kronk Warner, who nominated Tokson for the award, noted that he had been recognized for his exceptional research, teaching and service.
“I am delighted to see Matt honored in this way,” she said.
