Professor Leslie Francis, an expert in medical ethics, co-authored opinion pieces in Newsweek and The Salt Lake Tribune with her husband, Professor John G. Francis, an expert in comparative politics. The editorials focus on the right to interstate movement—specifically when abortion is needed—which is the topic of Francis’ new book (also with John Francis) called States of Health: The Ethics and Consequences of Policy Variation in a Federal System.
