Professor Leslie Francis discussed “Disability Justice and Precision Medicine Across the Lifespan: Towards a Future of Equity and Access” as a speaker for ELSIcon2022. This conference focuses on research on the ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of genetics research and its translation aims to anticipate and illuminate emerging issues relevant to policy and practice and fundamental questions of what it means to be human.
Zachary Ascherl, recent Utah Law grad and former UCEER fellow, also presented at ELSIcon2022. His presentation focused on his paper, “The Biologization of Morality: Criminal Justice as a Matter of Public Health”.
