The library recently purchased a second KIC scanner which is now up and running in the library computer lab by the IT Help Desk. A unique feature of this scanner is that it has a SmartDoc attached which allows you to send your scan directly to your mobile device. Instructions to do this are right at the scanner. The scanner also allows you to send a scan via email or save it to a USB drive, the same as the scanner located outside the computer lab.
