NATURAL RESOURCE FELLOWSHIP

Calvin E. Clark, Esq. (JD '56) established the Dewsnup Natural Resource Fellowship to honor his good friend and classmate Richard L. Dewsnup, the first solicitor general of Utah and an outstanding natural resources lawyer. Selection is based upon applicant’s experience and demonstrated interest in fields related to environmental and natural resource law, as well as academic performance. Recipient must be available to work full-time during the summer.

Paid summer clerkship in the Natural Resources Division of the Utah Attorney General’s Office
Eligibility
The application is open to current first-year students.
Application requirements and selection
Applicants must complete the common scholarship application and provide the following:
- resume
- written personal statement (no more than 500 words) that addresses the personal qualifications required by the scholarship
- unofficial College of Law transcript
The finalists selected by the College of Law environmental and natural resources faculty will be interviewed by a selection committee of attorneys.
