BEATRICE F. KROESCHE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

At the conclusion of the session, the College will evaluate the outcome and make the appropriate changes to the language associated with the list below. The Beatrice F. Kroesche Foundation Scholarship was established to honor Beatrice F. Kroesche, a 1983 alum of the College of Law who navigated her schooling as a single mother with significant hearing and sight limitations, and to help defray the cost of law school education for JD students at the S.J. Quinney College of Law. The selection committee will seek candidates who are single parents and/or who face physical challenges, including, but not limited to, those with hearing and sight limitations.
Benefits
Up to two scholarships of up to $5,000 each will be awarded for the academic year. Half is disbursed in fall semester and the other half is disbursed in spring semester.
Eligibility
This scholarship application is open to currently enrolled first- or second-year law students.
Application requirements and selection
Applicants must submit the following:
- a current resume
- a written personal statement (no more than 500 words) that addresses the criteria in the scholarship description
The selection committee (Utah Law deans and/or faculty) may elect to interview finalists and will choose recipients.
