At the request of the United States and 25 States, Marc Weinreich serves as the federal district court appointed Managing Principal and Trustee of four environmental response trusts that, in total, control over ¼ billion dollars and have site management, remediation and disposition responsibility for more than 500 state and federal superfund sites, RCRA facilities, mine scarred lands and other contaminated properties nationwide. As Trustee, he reports to state and federal environmental regulators and representatives of State Attorney General Offices and the United States Department of Justice on a daily basis. Mr. Weinreich also sits as the Chair of the Anadarko Litigation Trust Advisory Board, the trust charged with prosecuting a $15.5 billion fraudulent conveyance pollution lawsuit against petroleum giant Anadarko in connection with the spin-off of Tronox from Kerr-McGee Corporation. Mr. Weinreich has spoken at national and regional conferences on responsible and progressive hazardous waste site management, reuse, disposition, and long-term stewardship and has garnered two EPA National Phoenix Awards for the management and revitalization of federal superfund sites. Mr. Weinreich relocated to Utah from Boston in 2009 to be more proximate to Western state Trustee commitments and now proudly calls the State of Utah home.
