Current Issues in Indian Law CLE

12:00 – 3:00 p.m., S.J Quinney College of Law Moot Courtroom (Level 6)
Join us for an interactive afternoon to discuss current issues in Indian law.  Over lunch, the Indian law section of the Utah State Bar will briefly address section matters, followed by an introduction to the 8 Tribal sovereign nations that exist in Utah.  Through a panel of Indian law practitioners, the first session will address jurisdictional issues, working with Tribal clients, and provide general practice tips.  The second session will conclude the day by focusing on issues in Indian Child Welfare Act adoptions.

3 hours CLE available through the Utah State Bar

Register through the Utah State Bar. $30 for Indian law section members; $60 for non-section members (to join the Indian law section, individuals should contact the Utah State Bar directly at (801) 531-9077. The cost for current students is $15.
