Since George Floyd’s murder in the summer of 2020, Martell Teasley, interim senior vice president for academic affairs, and Elizabeth Kronk Warner, dean of the S.J. Quinney College of Law, have hosted several book discussions about racism, anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion. This event is the next installation in the Continuing Conversation about Race and Racism discussion series.

In this session, SVP Teasley and Dean Kronk Warner will highlight the book “Empire of the Summer Moon” by S.C. Gwynne to discuss racism that Native Americans face and how these examples can assist individuals and institutions can move beyond conversation and toward anti-racism action.
