This event will discuss patent procurement in the U.S. and Brazil and the prosecution history at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the Brazilian Patent Office; the growth of Brazil as a venue for international patent disputes, particularly in the telecom and computing sectors, with a focus on granting injunctions; Brazilian business law in both the private and public sectors,
