On February 6, 2015 the Utah Chapter of American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) will present “Meth and a Death: Anatomy of a Tried Case.”
In Aguilar v. Morgan Excavating a truck driver on meth was involved in a fatal accident where plaintiff’s decedent was hit by the truck and burned to death. Segments of the pretrial and trial will be reenacted followed by a panel of trial lawyers and law professors who will discuss the legal and tactical issues raised in each segment.
The event will explore the duties the attorneys owed their clients, several evidence issues and many trial tactic issues. Plaintiffs were represented by Colin King and Mike Worel, defendants by Juli Blanch and Andrew M. Morse.
