The library has three Apple and one Dell power cords (see below) available for checkout at the library circulation desk. The power cords can be checked out for 4 hours.
45W MagSafe Power Adapter: Compatible only with MacBook Air computers
60W MagSafe Power Adapter: Compatible with MacBook and 15” MacBook Pro
85W MagSafe Power Adapter: Compatible with 15” or 17” MacBook Pro
MagSafe to MagSafe 2 Converter: Works with library’s 45W & 60W power adapters
Dell Power Cord: Compatible with most all Dell laptops
We are not currently offering power cables for other laptops because there is a chance (slight though it may be) that the power flow in some cables may not be compatible with all PC laptops. If you have any questions/comments/suggestions, please contact Suzanne Darais (suzanne.darais@law.utah.edu).
