Dr. Caisa Royer, director of the Pro Bono Initiative, was recently interviewed on the U Rising podcast about the Pro Bono Initiative’s (PBI) 13 legal advice sites throughout the Salt Lake valley and how students and alumni can get involved.
“The goal is that [PBI] does create that lifelong dream, and we have so many students who are now practicing attorneys who come back and volunteer with us,” Royer said in the podcast. “I would say probably half of our attorneys are [S.J. Quinney College of Law] alums who loved doing this work while they were students and can’t quite give it up. And that’s so fun because we get to see them even after they graduate.”
