The Shared Journey: Building welcoming law school communities

Please join us for this law school deans-only event to discuss obstacles and best policies for the development of a law school community that is inclusive of people of all backgrounds. Several workshop sessions will address the day's key challenges and opportunities. We will provide food, entertainment and transportation within Salt Lake City, and rooms will be available at the Hotel Monaco downtown. The forum also overlaps with the Sundance Film Festival.

Thursday, January 30 – Welcome dinner hosted by LSAC

6:00 p.m. - Dinner at Hotel Monaco

Friday, January 31

8:15 - Hotel transport to the College of Law departs

8:30 – 9:15 a.m.: Breakfast at the S.J. Quinney College of Law

9:15 a.m. Programming TBA

Saturday, February 1
For those who want to stay an extra day, we will be planning winter excursions. Attendees and their guests can visit Olympic Park, Park City, a spa, or go cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. Dean Elizabeth Kronk Warner will also take a group downhill skiing. We will contact those who register to coordinate activities.

Breakfast and lunch will be on your own, and we will make a dinner reservation for those still in Salt Lake City Saturday night.
