Kogan to speak in Denver on transgender rights and public restrooms

University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law Professor Terry Kogan will travel to Denver to make a July 14 presentation to the National Association of Appellate Court Attorneys (NAACA). Kogan will address the issue of “Transgender Rights and Public Restroom Access.” State court judges from across the country will be attending the conference.

Kogan has spent the past decade considering the rights of transgender people, in particular issues surrounding the legal and cultural norms that mandate the segregation of public restrooms by sex.
