Cassell quoted in Miami Herald on Marsy’s Law and withholding victim names in Florida bank shooting

University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law Professor Paul Cassell was quoted in The Miami Herald recently about a Florida police chief’s decision to withhold the names of some of the five victims killed in a bank shooting.

Cassell spoke to the media about Marsy’s Law, which has been enacted in several states and is designed to protect victims’ privacy and victims’ rights.
