Participate in OCI

On Campus Interviewing (OCI) is the Fall & Spring recruiting program through which law firms, government agencies, military, corporations, federal & state prosecutors & public defenders’ offices as well as many other organizations hire summer associates and interns. During OCI, students apply to participating employers through our Symplicity database. The employers then select students for interviews based upon the materials they receive from the PDO office. While 1Ls cannot participate in OCI during the Fall Semester of their first year, they will have an opportunity to participate in the Spring session, which takes place in February. Spring OCI is generally smaller and targets the 1L class.

Reserve OCI Date

Employers are invited to take advantage of our On-Campus Interview Sessions held each Fall and Spring Semesters to collect resumes and interview students for summer, the academic year and entry level or post-graduate attorney positions.  We are currently taking reservations for our Fall 2014 OCI, which is currently scheduled to take place between Monday, August 18th and Wednesday, October 1st.  Reservations can be made through Symplicity.  To participate, potential employers should contact Jaclyn Powers by phone (801) 581-7767 or via email at howellj@law.utah.edu for more information and to set up an interview schedule. These schedules will include information about the firm/organization, the position(s) available and the documents that will be required for submission as part of the application process.
